  If you have never experienced EFT before, I strongly recommend that you seek out an experienced EFT practitioner so that you will be able to fully benefit from using this amazing technique. By having a professional EFT session you can have the it all fully explained and taught to you, as well as actually experiencing it authentically.

This is one of the most powerful life changing techniques on the planet, it is “state of the art” when it comes to getting positive results when most other treatments have failed. These instructional diagrams are primarily intended for use by people who have been treated by a qualified practitioner and are to serve as a reminder for the tapping points, or are for use by new clients wishing to use them during a formal telephone session.

The owner of this web site accepts no responsibility for the psychological well-being of anyone who uses EFT without first seeking professional EFT guidance. I state this because I feel it’s important that you do not inadvertently stumble onto an issue that may be too emotionally traumatic or overwhelming for you to be able to effectively deal with whilst using EFT on your own. With a qualified practitioner you will be able to deal with these types of intense feelings more rapidly, safely and with little or no emotional pain.

First rule is always be specific!

Tune into a specific issue, rate it’s intensity on a scale of 1 - 10. when you think of the issue or event, the actual event should last only briefly. For example, the time my mother slapped me for swearing. The moment would have been brief. If it isn’t then break the event down into smaller parts and treat each one as an individual mini event.

Prepare a set up phrase to be said aloud 3 times, something like “even though I have this .......your issue goes here........................ I deeply and completely accept myself.

Begin by locating the sore spot, this is a point on the chest that feels a little uncomfortable. As you gently rub this spot say the setup phrase.

Or if you have difficulty locating the sore spot simply tap on theKarate chop point instead as you say the setup phrase.

 

 

 

Choose a short reminder phrase... i.e. My problem XXX Begin the tappingsequence, tap several times on each point whilst repeating a smaller reminder phrase once per point. Begin with the inner edge of the eyebrow, followed by: Side of eye, Under the eye, Under the nose, Chin point....... Just below bottom lip

 

 

Then your Collar bone point and finally Under the arm around 4” down from your arm pit.

Check level of intensity, If still remaining continue onto the hand sequence.

Tap on the nail bed edge as shown starting with the thumb. Tap each point around six times as you say the reminder phrase once per point and then finish with tapping on the Karate chop point. Note we do not tapt on the ring finger as this is the same as the KC. point.

 

If for some reason, the above full sequence doesn’t alter the condition too much go on to apply the 9 Gamut procedure, and then repeat the above full sequence ending with the karate chop point as shown above.

The Nine Gamut procedure: This engages the whole brain whilst tapping on the Gamut spot, it may seem a strange proceedure...... But it works!Locate the Gamut spot, this is on the back of the hand, between the knuckles of the ring finger and the little finger ... Aprox 1- 1.5 cm from the web of skin connecting the two fingers.

Begin by continuously tapping on the Gamut spot whilst:1) keeping the head looking straight ahead, move your eyes hard down to the right

2) keeping the head looking straight ahead, move your eyes hard down to the left

3) Close your eyes

4) Open your eyes

5) Without moving your head, roll your eyes right around as if you were looking at the numbers on a giant clock face... Do this in a clockwise rotation

6)Without moving your head, again roll your eyes right around as if you were looking at the numbers on a giant clock face... in a anti-clockwise rotation

7) Hum aloud the first line of “Happy Birthday” (or some other tune of your choice)

8) Count quickly from one to five aloud

7) Once again, hum aloud the first line of the Happy Birthday tune

Having done the 9 Gamut sequence, check your intensity level and if necessary repeat the instructions on the previous page. This can be thought of as a sandwich:

Mopping up Gamut procedure

Finally, if your intensity is almost near to zero, Try tapping the Gamut spot repeatedly, keep your head looking straight forward, do not move your head, look hard down at the floor with your eyes and then slowly roll them upwards until you are looking up as high as you can, with your eyes rolled back as far as you can. then gently bring them back down to look straight ahead. This should take several seconds, do not rush it, remember to keep tapping the gamut spot whilst doing this eye roll exercise.
